A: You can call Royalty Pet Sitters at (509) 545-0866 to request a Meet n’ Greet or fill out a service request on our Reservations page. We will come to your home, meet you and your pet family, learn about your pets’ likes and home routines. We create a custom pet care plan to pamper your pets and ensure that they feel loved. We give them the Royal Treatment!
Q: Why should I choose In-Home pet sitting over a kennel or boarding?
A: Royalty Pet Sitters provides superior service in your home. Pets thrive on a familiar routine and they are most comfortable with the sights and smells of home. When you are away, we are there for you and pamper your precious pet family.
Q: What kind of pets does Royalty Pet Sitters care for?
A: We care for dogs, big and small. We love to cuddle cats and small animals. We are experienced in caring for exotics, farm animals and more!
Q: I prefer using a service that is bonded and insured, are you?
A: Royalty Pet Sitters, LLC is a bonded and insured pet sitting service. We are licenced to conduct business in Washington State. We have been providing professional pet sitting service to the Tri-Cities area since 2006. Our staff of Pet Sitters have passed a background check, receive hands-on training and are Pet First Aid trained by the American Red Cross.
Q: Do you have references?
A: We have a page on our website dedicated to letters and comments from our happy clients. Visit our Testimonials page to read them! When we come for a Meet n’ Greet we can bring a list of references that you are welcome to call.
Q: Can you spend extra time with my pets?
A: Yes, our Royal Audience service is spending extra time loving and pampering your pet.
Q: What is the earliest and latest you can visit?
A: Our earliest visit is 6 am and latest is 9 pm. Special arrangements outside the normal service hours may be available. Contact us for more information.
Q: Do you offer house sitting where you visit my home to check my mail and make sure our home is safe?
A: Yes, please see Castle Watch service on our Services page for more information.
Q: What if my pet sitter becomes ill or has an emergency?
A: All of our staff are trained to provide back up service in the event of an emergency or illness.
Q: What types of medicines do you administer?
A: We administer pills, injections, ointments and drops.
Q: Can you administer medicine on a specific schedule?
A: Yes, we can work your visits around the medication schedule your Veterinarian has prescribed.
Q: What will you do if my pet becomes ill while I am away?
A: We are American Red Cross Pet First Aid Certified and always have your pet’s health and safety in mind. In the case of a life threatening illness or injury we will attempt to stabilize your pet and seek professional treatment immediately. We will attempt to contact you immediately. In non-life threatening situations we will contact you with a recommended plan of action. Unless specifically directed otherwise we will err on the side of caution and seek treatment for your pet.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Checks or cash, we are not set up for electronic payments at this time.
Q: Can you train my dog?
A: We can work with your dog to reinforce training, but we are not qualified. We recommend Al White with It’s Paws-ible. He can be reached at (509) 542-8222. Please let him know Royalty Pet Sitters, LLC referred you!
Q: What special steps do you take for a shy cat?
A: We have found that spending the full visit in the home and waiting for the shy cat to become comfortable works great. It is quite a feeling of success when that shy cat comes and rubs your leg for the first time!
Q: Can you keep my pet at your home instead of coming to my home?
A: Due to liability concerns and coinciding insurance being price prohibitive, this service is not currently available.
Q: Do you have special policies for major holidays?
A: Holiday reservation dates incur an additional $25.00 charge. Dates include: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
