KRISTY R.

Position: Pet Sitter & Sitter Sleepovers

Kristy has lived in the Tri Cities for 5 years now and absolutely loves it here. She and her husband have 3 grown sons and 1 granddaughter who is 5. She has always been around animals; from the youngest age she can remember she has had dogs and cats in her home. At the age of 10, her family moved to a farm in Omak, Washington and she had every farm animal imaginable! Her family each had a horse of their own, cows (one who had Epilepsy and seizures), pigs and chickens. They even had rabbits that they would put leashes on and take for walks. They always had at least 4 to 6 dogs and just as many cats. She would always help her mom doctor all the animals. Her mother was as good as any Vet and nothing ever bothered her. She loved animals and loved taking care of them. Kristy says that’s how she developed the love of all animals. She currently has 3 dogs, all of which are “pound puppies”. They are as different in personality as her sons are, and just as much a part of her family. Jester is 14, smart, smart, smart! Jessie is their “not so smart” but so very loveable 10 yr. old! And Julius (Ju Ju) is 3 yrs. old. Very smart, very hyper, very energetic and drives the other two crazy! Unfortunately, her husband is allergic to cats, so they are unable to have any as permanent residents, but she is extremely fond of cats.
